Other new products include the all new award winning patented Speed Pro® self-aligning, hand-tightened, self-torquing arbor nut system. It solves the problem of over torquing an arbor nut on rotors or drums. Use on any popular brake lathe with a one inch arbor and 1” X 8 UNC L.H. Or 7/8” X 9 UNC L.H. threads. The Speed Pro® arbor nut automatically aligns and tightens a rotor or drum to a brake lathe and helps prevent a bent arbor. Never search for a self-aligning spacer again! It’s built in! Eliminate come backs due to pulsation caused by mis-aligned rotors or drums. The Speed Pro® model numbers 609329 for 1" threads and 609330 for 7/8" threads come complete with a removable handle. Model numbers 609332 for 1" threads and 609333 for 7/8" threads are kits that also include three variable length arbor spacers and special mounting posts. These kits are designed to meet the demands of any busy shop and are standard equipment on some manufacturers brake lathes.
